Auction is for one matched pair of rare Amperex E88CC / 6922 rebranded RCA. This is early old curved D getter type with gold pins and it's much better sounding than later types.
It is made in Amperex New York tube plant in 1960 and star is clearly visible on photos, 7L4 etched codes.
It is carefully tested on calibrated Mutrix U61B tester with 100V on plates and -1.5V on grids and results are:
14/13 13/12 mA
Value for 100% NOS tube is 16mA at this voltages!
Tested for mirophonics and low noise in my preamp, and they work perfectly.
If you are looking at this listing, you surely know that this tube could be ultimate sub for ECC88 / E88CC / E188CC / E288CC / CCa / 6DJ8 / 6922 / 7308 / PCC88 / 7DJ8, as I personally checked in few amps and preamps, but please do not ask me about warranties how they will sound in your devices.
