They are carefully matched with balanced sections. They come in white boxes. The same etched codes.
They are tested with 100V on anodes and -1.5V on grids: (16/16) (16/15) mA, perfectly balanced, 100% emission.
They are tested for low noise as well in RIAA preamp.
