Two (2) tubes, platinum matched pair within 5% of 6P43P-E made by Reflektor, Saratov.
I have few boxes of 100 pcs 6P43PE made in Reflektor, Saratov tube plant back in 1970. Some dealers list them as EL86 6CW5 equivalent. This tube is not direct EL86 equivalent, not to mention EL84 6BQ5, it could be very dangerous to use it in devices projected for EL84. 6P43P is not intended for high plate and screen grid voltages as EL84.
EL86 6CW5 is true pentode, it has three wirewound grids. 6P43P has suppressor grid made of metal (not classic wire wound) and it is internally connected to cathode, so it acts more like beam tetrode then like true pentode. It can be used in some EL86 applications, but you must think a bit before you simply insert it into the socket.
